Quebec Regulatory Notice – Right to Repair (Bill 29)
At Chambly Mazda, we value transparency and comply with all requirements under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and Bill 29 – Right to Repair.
This notice informs our customers about the availability of replacement parts, repair services, and technical information necessary for the maintenance or repair of vehicles we sell or service.
Mazda Warranty (Official Mazda Canada Inc. Statement)
Mazda Canada Inc. (“MCI”) is pleased to offer a 36-month unlimited-mileage warranty on your new vehicle. This warranty covers repairs on any part supplied by MCI that is defective in materials or workmanship, subject to certain exceptions outlined in your warranty manual. For additional information regarding the warranty, please consult the warranty manual provided with your vehicle or visit mazda.ca.
The Quebec Consumer Protection Act requires MCI to indicate whether it guarantees the availability of replacement parts, repair services and technical information necessary to maintain or repair the vehicle or its components. While MCI is committed to honoring the terms of its warranty, please note that it does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services or the technical information necessary to maintain or repair the new vehicle, certified pre-owned vehicle, used vehicle or its components.
Commitment of Chambly Mazda
As an authorized Mazda dealership, Chambly Mazda is committed to: *
Providing Mazda-recommended maintenance and repair services when the required parts, tools and information are available.
- - Clearly informing customers of any availability limitations prior to performing repairs.
- - Using original Mazda parts or high-quality equivalent parts whenever possible.
- - Providing maintenance advice and technical information consistent with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- - Complying with Bill 29 requirements and acting transparently and responsibly.
Used Vehicles – Other Brands
In addition to Mazda vehicles, Chambly Mazda sells used vehicles from other automotive manufacturers.
For non-Mazda vehicles, Chambly Mazda: *
Makes every reasonable effort to obtain the parts, tools and information required to maintain and repair these vehicles, based on availability from each manufacturer or supplier.
- - Cannot guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services or technical information for brands other than Mazda.
- - Uses original manufacturer parts or approved equivalent parts whenever possible.
- - Communicates any repairability or parts-availability limitations prior to servicing the vehicle.
Limitations and Exclusions
Parts, services, and technical data availability may be limited due to: *
Discontinuation of a component or model by the manufacturer.
- - Technology or software changes making certain parts incompatible.
- - Supply chain, regulatory, safety or logistical constraints.
- - Modifications made to the vehicle or use of non-approved parts.
Chambly Mazda cannot be held responsible for the unavailability of a part, service, or information when such circumstances are outside our control or result from manufacturer decisions.
