2020 Mazda3 named Best Canadian Small Car by AJAC

Completely redesigned last year, the new generation Mazda3 received a prestigious title earlier this month when it was named Best Canadian Small Car 2020 by journalists from the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada.

The Mazda3 came out ahead of a fierce competition including the new Kia Forte. This is the 5th major title for the Mazda3 since its arrival on the market in 2004. Now offered with all-wheel drive, the 2020 Mazda3 is now eligible for the title of Canadian Car of the Year which will be announced on February 14.

"Mazda extends its winning record in the Canadian Car of the Year awards by claiming the trophy for Best Small Car in Canada for 2020," said Stephanie Wallcraft, President of AJAC. "AJAC members represent the largest collective of automotive journalist expertise in the country, and their rigorous testing takes place on the roads and weather conditions found from coast to coast. For the Mazda3 to emerge as a winner after our members' months of objective assessment is a true achievement."
